Entrepreneurship Faculty Advisory Group
The Eller College’s Entrepreneurship Faculty Advisory Group is comprised of one member from each academic department in the college (Economics, Management and Organizations, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting), and the executive and managing directors of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship. The purpose of this group is to provide a connectivity between the McGuire Center and the academic units of the Eller College. The Advisory group provides input regarding curriculum and course content for entrepreneurship programs and for other entrepreneurship and innovation related offerings at the undergraduate and graduate levels within the college. The advisory group is well positioned to provide regular communication about the Center’s activities to the academic departments, such as teaching opportunities within the Center, the speakers’ series, visitors, events, and grant and other faculty and student funding opportunities. As representative of the faculty and department, the group interacts with the Dean, Vice Dean, Associate Deans in MBA and Undergraduate Programs, and faculty governance committees with regard to entrepreneurship courses and activities. Importantly, the group cultivates faculty interest in conducting entrepreneurship-related research and promotes current research in entrepreneurship that is related to or intersects with traditional business discipline research.
